OUR MISSION

To impact the lives of young people in the Nation's Capital by creating affordable and accessible golf facilities to primarily serve those who have not had exposure to the game and its positive values.

19th Hole Roast of Bill Scott
Chevy Chase Country Club hosted our first annual "19th Hole Reception" on Tuesday, June 17, 2008. This year was a Roast on our Chairman, Bill Scott. Chairs Larry Lamade, Glenn Mitchell & Burke Hayes led the affair and over 80 guests attended.

Roasters Bob Dolan, Joe Coffey, Glenn Mitchell, Tim Columbus & Burke Hayes with a special appearance from Josh Hartman told stories of much humor & fun. Emcee Pat Haggerty honored us with his wit and style throughout the evening.

Proceeds are going to start the Bill Scott fund to further develop the mission of The First Tee.
